Commentary: In this commentary, I will opine on the blood sport of politics being degraded to its nadir by arrogant, corrupt career politicians and bureaucrats, as well as political insiders, who consider themselves above the law in their attempt to criminalize a sitting President. The overwhelming majority of this stellar group is comprised of people that hate Trump and want to see his presidency destroyed by any means possible as has been consistently demonstrated since he won the election in November 2016. The reasons for such hatred are beyond the scope of this blog.

For the sake of brevity, my focus will be on four men who have played prominent roles in the effort to achieve this ignominious goal: Attorney General Jeff Sessions; Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein; FBI Director Christopher Wray, and Special Counsel Robert Mueller. I will not elaborate on Wray’s role since the FBI operates under the jurisdiction of the DOJ and doing so would be redundant.

No Good Deed Goes Unpunished: There is no doubt that the appointments of Sessions and Rosenstein serving respectively as Attorney General and Deputy Attorney General, and FBI Director Wray are clearly Trump’s responsibility. One can logically assume he made them with the reasonable expectation that they were men of integrity who would respect and objectively carry out the rule of law. Thus far, their abysmal, backstabbing performance in office has clearly proven that he was gravely mistaken.

Sessions: Sessions is a career politician who served as U.S. Senator from Alabama, 1997-2017 when he was confirmed as AG under Trump. He was on the cover of radical left-wing Time Magazine’s March 29, 2018 issue with the caption under his face, ‘Nobody’s Above The Law’, which is laughable.

Sessions’ first act as AG was to recuse himself from investigating the Democrat’s outrageous claim that Trump illegally colluded with Russia to influence the 2016 election. He claimed doing so was to avoid any appearance of conflicting interests, and handed the matter off to long-time DOJ employee and career bureaucrat, Deputy AG Rosenstein. The ‘hand-off’ notwithstanding, it would be incredulous to believe that the ultimate authority on a matter of this gravity was vested exclusively in Rosenstein, but rather at all times he was acting in Sessions’ stead.

Initially, Sessions’ recusal seemed prudent considering the circumstances. However, unbeknownst to the public, at that time he knew the collusion claim was based on an unverified dossier replete with lies and salacious statements about Trump prepared by a disgraced former British intelligence officer. To further exacerbate his complicity, Sessions knew the dossier was prepared at the direction of and purchased by the DNC and Clintons to use as a political hit piece against Trump. This explosive information not only went to the heart of the claim’s veracity, it would have raised red flags to a conscientious, decent AG with integrity and effected an immediate investigation, but Sessions remains mute more than one year later.

Rosenstein: Rosenstein is a corrupt lying weasel whose character is at best repugnant to the rule of law. He engineered Comey’s much-needed firing then unsuccessfully urged Trump to appoint his good friend and former boss Robert Mueller as FBI Director.

He inexplicably decided not to use the vast investigatory powers of the DOJ and FBI in this matter. Instead, on May 17, 2017, he appointed Mueller as Special Counsel purportedly for the limited purpose of conducting a criminal investigation of Trump, his family, campaign staffers, and associates relative to colluding with Russia to influence the election.

Not surprisingly, however, indisputable facts continue emerging that clearly indicate Rosenstein intentionally lied about the limited scope of Mueller’s role. Specifically, Mueller’s actions have made it abundantly clear that he was provided unfettered power to destroy Trump’s presidency through any means possible, the rule of law, Russian collusion, and collateral damage notwithstanding. The most cogent fact that has emerged is the ‘means’ of destruction was indicting Trump by ‘hook or crook’.

Rosenstein also extended a FISA warrant to wiretap the cell phone of former Trump campaign member Carter Page with full knowledge that it had been obtained through fraudulent misrepresentations. Specifically, he knew the DOJ and FBI lied to the FISA court about the veracity, source, and purpose of the unverified dossier: ergo, he abetted their fraud in attempting to subvert Trump. The truth and rule of law Rosenstein swore to uphold obviously continue to remain of total indifference to him.

Mueller’s Mission: It should be abundantly clear that Mueller’s mission is to indict Trump for any crime he can uncover or create by any means, the Russian collusion lies notwithstanding. Likewise, there should be little doubt that Sessions’ recusal was a ruse intended to hide abdicating his responsibility as AG and conduct an unbiased investigation of any collusion. Instead, he used Rosenstein as an eager conduit through which Mueller was appointed to perform the dirty work: investigate Trump, his family, campaign staffers, and associates, then look for crimes instead of investigating an existing crime then seeking a suspect as is standard FBI practice.

To help facilitate this end Sessions provided Mueller with unfettered authority, unlimited funds, and an infinite amount of time to witch-hunt, and when he felt it appropriate, seek indictments against Trump and any others in the targeted group. As of this date, Mueller has hired 18 seasoned prosecutors who are hardcore Democrats. Approximately 98% are avid Clinton supporters and many e.g., corrupt liar Andrew Weissmann, hate Trump and donated to her failed campaign. I posit that Sessions has spent at least $25M of taxpayers money on this ill-fated illegal witch-hunt of Trump, et. al., for which he is responsible. He should be investigated and held accountable for this egregious abuse of power and all criminal acts included therein.

Robert Mueller: People hire in their own stead: Obama is a corrupt inveterate liar and hired Mueller and Comey as FBI Directors… he has not been disappointed. Mueller is as dirty as his pal Comey, and during his stellar stint with the FBI he was deeply involved with facilitating the following egregious illegal actions of Obama:

  • Fast and Furious gun sales to illegals resulting in the murder of border agents
  • Letting HSBC off with a fine after it pled guilty to laundering more than $800M, primarily from drug cartels and terrorist organizations, which was the largest such case in American history
  • Sale of 20% of Ameria’s uranium to Russia which enriched the Clintons and Russia while Ameria received nothing

Mueller’s absolute investigative authority as mentioned aforesaid is corroborated by the fact that while the Trump – Russian collusion matter has been proven to be without any merit, his all-out well-funded witch-hunt seeking any crimes Trump committed continues unabated thanks to Sessions. Mueller’s repulsive tactic is to indict Trump associates and friends on matters unrelated to Russian collusion nonsense in hopes they are aware of and will rat out Trump on past crimes. This would catalyze the destruction of his presidency by enabling Mueller to indict him.

On May 6, 2018, this appalling but expected Mueller tactic finally caught up with him in the Paul Manafort money laundering case in Virginia. Highly respected U.S. District Court Judge T.S. Ellis understood Mueller’s goal, lost his temper, and chastised Mueller’s goons led by Weissmann as he cut directly to the chase with the following statement: “You really care about getting information Mr. Manafort can give you that would reflect on Mr. Trump and lead to his prosecution or impeachment.” Ellis also strongly expressed his outrage at Mueller being granted and exercising unfettered power.

Mueller is an arrogant ass who must be irate that Trump rejected him as FBI Director. He and corrupt inveterate liar James Comey are close friends, share the same repulsive, amoral characters, and have a long history of fixing felonies for the Clintons. In my opinion, he is using this windfall opportunity to avenge his rejection by Trump and Comey’s firing.

Pervasive Corruption, Lying and Subversion in the DOJ and FBI: Another significant revelation that continues to emerge in the aftermath of Trump’s election is the appalling pervasive corruption, lying, and subversion at the top echelons of the DOJ and FBI. Specifically, hard inculpatory evidence of major felonies committed by corrupt liars including Obama, the Clintons, Comey, Lynch, and Clapper, as well as various DOJ and FBI personnel continue to be illegally suppressed. Apparently, Sessions and Wray are continuing the corrupt culture set by Obama and implemented by his modern-day Gestapo-like goons that included Holder, Lynch, Comey, Clinton, Brennan, Clapper, Lerner, and Mueller.

This level of corruption was perfectly exemplified when Comey wrote the exoneration letter of vile Hillary Clinton in her email scandal on May 2, 2016. This was several months prior to her informal ‘meeting’ with the FBI on the matter where she was not under oath, and publicly announcing his decision on July 16, 2016. Not surprisingly, Sessions has ignored this obvious felony for more than one year.

Sacred Fiefdoms: For months the DOJ and FBI have protected their fiefdoms by suppressing inculpatory evidence of corruption by high ranking officials and refusing to comply with subpoenas issued by the House Intelligence Committee. Some of the documents subpoenaed were relative to Clinton’s email matter, McCabe, Comey, the Carter Page FISA warrant, their own agents and other bureaucrats that conspired to subvert Trump, and the exact scope of Mueller’s witch-hunt. After more than one year and the threat of contempt citations, some documents were produced; however, the relevant information sought was redacted. Ergo, the culture of lying and corruption within these organizations charged with enforcing the rule of law is alive, well, and going strong.

No Special Counsel to Investigate the DOJ and FBI: In addition to the aforementioned subpoenas, as evidence of high-level corruption, lying and subversion in the DOJ and FBI continue to emerge, Sessions was called on and refused to appoint a Special Counsel to investigate them. Unlike the Trump matter, he kept such an investigation under his control ‘in-house’ by appointing his friend and DOJ employee, U.S. Attorney John Huber to perform the job. Apparently, Sessions felt the DOJ could objectively investigate its internal corruption, lying, and subversion, as well as that of the FBI, without constituting a conflict of interest. This is an insult to the American people and absurd, but consistent with Sessions’ propensity to violate his oath of office.

Targeting Trump: While Sessions has focused on busting MS13 thugs, threatening Mayors of illegal sanctuary cities with meaningless effluvium, and filing a civil suit against California, Trump is the only high profile person known to be under an intense criminal investigation without a crime being identified for more than one year. The following include some of the key DC players and their obvious felonies that are apparently of no concern to Sessions.

  • Clintons’: ‘Pay to play’ influence peddling scheme underpinned by tax fraud and abuse of power;
  • Hillary Clinton: Entire email scandal including the destruction of 30,000 + emails under Congressional subpoena; corruption; obstructing justice; conspiring to subvert Trump; Uranium One deal
  • Comey: Perjury; corruption; obstructing justice; conspiring to subvert Trump
  • McCabe: Perjury; corruption; conspiring to subvert Trump
  • Obama: Subverting America; illegal immigration; funding terrorism through Iran, Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood; conspiring to subvert Trump
  • Clapper: Perjury; obstruction of justice; conspiring to subvert Trump
  • Radical Muslim John Brennan: Obstruction of justice; conspiring to subvert Trump; leaking classified information
  • Rosenstein: Perjury; abetting the fraud used in obtaining the FISA warrant regarding Carter Page; obstruction of justice; conspiring to subvert Trump
  • FBI agents Strzok, Page, Weissmann and DOJ’s Ohr: Corruption; perjury; conspiring to subvert Trump

The Blood Sport of Politics: The relentless witch-hunt to indict Trump exemplifies the repugnant nadir to which the ugly blood sport of politics has rapidly descended. It is clearly a gross miscarriage and mockery of justice willfully led by Sessions, Rosenstein, Wray, and Mueller for political purposes. Whether they are its core operatives or are serving as useful idiots for others that hate Trump is a moot point. Of significance, however, Sessions, Rosenstein, and Wray are suppressing inculpatory evidence of felonies committed by the DOJ, FBI, and other sleazy bureaucrats in their efforts to subvert and destroy Trump while he was a candidate and as President. As to Mueller; Sessions graciously provided him with unfettered power and impunity to destroy Trump’s presidency by criminalizing him through an indictment without imposing constraints on time or funds. This continues today as Sessions watches the witch-hunt continue.

These and other individuals involved with such egregious acts to criminalize and indict Trump represent the very height of corruption, disrespect for the rule of law, and decency. They should be fired immediately and legitimate criminal investigations of their nefarious activities commenced. Sessions, Rosenstein, and Wray should be required to forfeit their taxpayer-funded pensions and lose all government perks.

The Death Knell For Justice: Sessions knows the best defense is the passage of time. As AG he can control any faux investigations and continue slow-walking the wheels of justice for the foreseeable future. He is also well aware that a House controlled by Democrats subsequent to November’s mid-term elections will represent the death knell for this matter. His immediate firing followed by a legitimate criminal investigation of all parties involved with this witch-hunt and attempt to subvert Trump will give justice a chance to prevail. It might also give elections the opportunity to decide political differences instead of orchestrated witch hunts.
